Mickey & Minnie Happy Anniversary

What a Perfect Card for our 14 year Anniversary since we just came back from Disney! Wow...did I just say 14 years! Time flies when you are in love! ;)

I LOVE using the Cricut to cut these awesome Disney Characters. The kids LOVE using the Disney cartridges and want me to cut one of each! Yikes! The characters are very time consuming but worth it in the end. I cut Mickey & Minnie at 5 1/2". The heart, I think I used 6". I cut the black background then I cute two of the the dark pink to make the card so it would open. I cut the light pink for the top layer, then added Mickey & Minnie to the front :) I could have added more to the front but I ran out of time. Mike walked in the door as I was trying to finish it up so I got in a hurry.

Our Anniversary was actually in November but with my back surgery I couldn't get out and get what I wanted for him until this week. He's so patient! hee hee

Teachers Christmas Gift

Hello Savvy Stampers!

Today I'm sharing the Christmas Gifts I made for my girls teachers this year. I made four sets of holiday gift tags with four gift boxes to hold the tags. I wanted to do something a little unexpected as a Teachers Gift. I could have been a little more creative and add more embellishments to the boxes but my back couldn't take sitting in the scrap room another second. Uggg....still healing. Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Friends

Hello Savvy Stampers!

Today's cards are some I did back in September for my mom's Birthday. I LOVE the Penny Black stamp with the pudgy pony! He's one of my favorite!

The cupcake card was one of the first time's I tried to make a card using the Cricut. So it's kinda plain and boring. My girls gave the Cupcake card to Grandma :)

Cricut Merry Christmas

Hello Savvy Stampers!

Tonight is all about the Cricut! I've been dying to play around with the Vinyl so I decided to do a Christmas project. I put it on the wall above our couch in the living room. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. This was really a fun project to do and actually it went really fast. Here's what I did:

Santa & Reindeer - Christmas Cartridge, cut at 10" - Black Vinyl
Neighbor Hood Houses - Christmas Cartridge, cut at 4 3/4" - Black Vinyl
Merry Christmas - Jasmine Cartridge, cut at 4 3/4" (I think) - Black Vinyl
Moon - Accents Essentials Cartridge, cut at 9 1/2" - Tan Vinyl

For the Neighbor Hood of houses and trees I used the Christmas Cartridge in the Design Studio (DS). I kept adding houses and trees to the design to get the layout I wanted, Set Kerning to .001, apply, then made sure I had each element set on Welding so when it cut it cut everything as one long piece. Oh, and I had to break out the 12x14 mat for this project :)

Have a great evening!

More Mickey & Friends!

Gawrsh Goofy! Nice to see ya! I love Montana's face in the picuture in the stroller. She was just so in "aw" of everything.

Disney Album

Mickey & Friends!

I finally started my Disney Vacation Album. I was so excited to try the Disney Charaters on my new Cricut Expressions and they were so fun to make! Can be a little time consuming but I started figuring stuff out and it was going a lot quicker with a few tricks I learned :)

I'm going to have to two this in two post to get all 7 pictures in so stop back in to see the next few pages too :)

Enjoy!

We had to take a boat ride from the Campground parking lot to Disney. The girls LOVE it.

Cricut Crazy!

ricutWaaa Whooo! I just got my Cricut Expressions Machine and it is AWESOME! Worth every penny! I went for it all and got some of the awesome Disney Cartridges and some cute Font Cartridges. Here's just a sample of what I've done.

Ariel, Flounder, Diesel and Madison were a dinosour and cave girl for halloween. I made the dinosour and cave girl die cuts using the Paper Doll Cartridge. To Fun! I also completed my album that has been sitting and waiting for titles to be added. I did the entire thing last night cutting fonts with the Cricut!

Enjoy!

I ended up selling all my Sizzix Die Cuts along with a ton of my CTMH Stamp Sets and all my CTMH inks to help pay for it but I'm so happy I did! Now.....Who's ready to SCRAP!?!?!?
