LOOK closely at this one!!
I love using the "reflection" technique on a card. I was trying to come up with a clever idea for a Christmas/Birthday combo card instead of doing two separate cards. Do you see it....take a look!
The Pony's hat is Christmas, the puppy's collar is red, the gift is red and green with the Merry Christmas Greeting. Now, check out the "reflection" in the water! The pony has a Birthday party hat on, the puppy is wearing a blue collar, the birthday gift is more primary birthday colors and it has a Happy Birthday Greeting. I thought it turned out kinda cute:) The even cooler thing is it was "my" original idea! (Not the refection technique, but making the reflection different to have two different theme's) I didn't scrap lift it from anyone :) hee hee Now....if you have seen it done, don't tell me. I want to at least think it was my idea for a little while :)
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Holiday Gift Card Holders
Hello Savvy Stampers!
This time of year is always the time for giving Gift Cards. You know you always have 2 or 3 people who want a gift card over an actual gift. So, I love to create something fun for the gift cards to go in. This is a lift from Andrea Walfords post, you can view it here. I made 5 of these today. I know....lots of gift cards, but they asked for them! :)
I think these would be cute and fun to turn them horizontally too. Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Treat Bags
Cute huh! I love these gift bags. Super easy to make and a lot of fun to give! I found the idea on Patty Bennetts blog here. Great idea Patty!
Here's how I made mine.
Simply cut two pieces of cardstock using the Top Note SU Die cut. Cut another Top Note using Designer Series Paper, cut this piece in half. Adhere the pieces of DSP to the solid pieces of cut cardstock. Embellish.
From your favorite craft store. Get those super cute, small paper sacks. They look like miniature paper lunch bags that measure 3 1/2" x 2" x 6 3/4". I got mine from Michaels. Cut your bag down to 3". Adhere the bag between your two top note pieces using your snail. Cut handle using the SU Oval Punch. Fill with goodies and tie a bow around the handle to close! I made 40 of them in not time!
Now, go try it out for yourself ;) Have fun!

Teachers Christmas Gift
Hello Savvy Stampers!
Today I'm sharing the Christmas Gifts I made for my girls teachers this year. I made four sets of holiday gift tags with four gift boxes to hold the tags. I wanted to do something a little unexpected as a Teachers Gift. I could have been a little more creative and add more embellishments to the boxes but my back couldn't take sitting in the scrap room another second. Uggg....still healing. Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Friends
Hello Savvy Stampers!
Today's cards are some I did back in September for my mom's Birthday. I LOVE the Penny Black stamp with the pudgy pony! He's one of my favorite!
The cupcake card was one of the first time's I tried to make a card using the Cricut. So it's kinda plain and boring. My girls gave the Cupcake card to Grandma :)

He's Checking His List...
I love this stamp but Rubber Stampede called "Santa Collage". I believe it's retired and going on EBay for unheard of amounts. Crazy! Mine arrived by mail yesterday (I paid regular price, not eBay prices!) and I had to get my hands on it! I ran in the stamp'n room to do a quick card tonight. Here's what I came up with!

Under The Stars
Hello Savvy Stampers
I just love this set! This set is a Stampin' Up! set called Under the Stars. I also used Lovely As a Tree Stamp Set. (Very cool set! I use it all the time). Caulks, dimensional, Eyelets and Hemp.
I actually made two of these cards. One was for my Dad's Birthday. The other was a Thank You card for someone who brough over dinner after my surgery. I just changed the stamp set in Mr. Bears hands :)

Forest Friend
Hello Savvy Stampers!
Card 9 of my "12 Cards of Christmas"
Like I said previously, I have been inspired by so many wonderful stampers on the web and I came across a beautiful card with a technique I had to try. This card, believe it or not was so easy to make! Probably one of the fastest cards in my whole series!
Techniques used are: First, Second and Third generation stamping. Caulk: Starting with the darkest on the edges of the card and working my way in toward the middle getting light and lighter with the pressure used and colors. Viola! a beautiful background to your card.

Girls Best Friend
I've been going through a ton of pictures and came across this one from the first day of school. The girls are with there loving "puppy" Diesel. He's gotten so big! Still growing though :) He's 195 lbs now but was probably around 185 in this picture.
Diesel loves seeing the girls off to school each morning and he can't wait to see the bus go by every afternoon. He sits and patiently waits in the front yard until he see the bus in the afternoon, then when the bus pulls up he stands and starts wagging his tail like crazy waiting for them to get up to the house.
Don't forget. Tomorrow starts my 12 Cards of Christmas. Hope to see you then!
12 Cards of Christmas
Hey Savvy Stampers!
Starting tomorrow, I will post two cards each day for six days. Each day you will have two Christmas Card ideas so if you haven't sent out your Christmas Cards yet you better get on the ball and get em done! No store bought cards allowed....that's cheating! hee hee
Check back tomorrow!

Cricut Merry Christmas
Hello Savvy Stampers!
Tonight is all about the Cricut! I've been dying to play around with the Vinyl so I decided to do a Christmas project. I put it on the wall above our couch in the living room. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. This was really a fun project to do and actually it went really fast. Here's what I did:
Santa & Reindeer - Christmas Cartridge, cut at 10" - Black Vinyl
Neighbor Hood Houses - Christmas Cartridge, cut at 4 3/4" - Black Vinyl
Merry Christmas - Jasmine Cartridge, cut at 4 3/4" (I think) - Black Vinyl
Moon - Accents Essentials Cartridge, cut at 9 1/2" - Tan Vinyl
For the Neighbor Hood of houses and trees I used the Christmas Cartridge in the Design Studio (DS). I kept adding houses and trees to the design to get the layout I wanted, Set Kerning to .001, apply, then made sure I had each element set on Welding so when it cut it cut everything as one long piece. Oh, and I had to break out the 12x14 mat for this project :)
Have a great evening!

Upsy Daisy
Hello Savvy Stampers!
Ok....not the best picture, but you get the idea ;) I just had to get in my stamp'n room and get my hands one some stamps! It's been over a month since I've made anything! I did get three cards done. This one for my SIL Birthday, one for my Dad's Birthday which is today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! Then another Thank you Card. I'll post those later in the week.
I think this is a beautiful SU set. Very simple quick card using the Upsy Daisy set.

Snowman Paint Can
Here's the original Snowman Paint can I designed last year. I love doing altering paint cans, they are super cheep to get and make fabulous gifts! The snowman is simply made using the CM custom cutting system and punches. Ovals, circle and heart punch for his mittens.
Again, sorry for posting so many of last years projects. I'm still down from my back surgery. Just over 4 weeks post surgery. I did get in the stamp'n room today and knocked out four cards :) I'm paying for it now laying back in bed with a heat pad on my back! Sitting just isn't working for me yet! Ugggg
I'll post those cards this week, so stay tuned!
Happe Stamp'n!
