Wonderful Holiday Wishes Paint Can
Hello Savvy Stampers! Today I am posting the Holiday Paint Can from last year. I love making these cans and they are relatively easy to go. All you need is some designer paper or hand stamped paper. A few Themed Stamped sets, Modge Podge and some ribbon. The birds I cut out after stamping and used the Ultra Thick Embossing Powder to give her a glossy, thicker look. I used Versa Mark to make her sticky, used the UTEP, heat set and repeat another 2 or three times to get the look you want. Makes a great gift, just fill the can with your favorite holiday treats!

Snowman Can
Hey Savvy Stampers. Today I wanted to share the Snowman Can I made last year for a class I was going to teach at our local Scrapbook Store. I believe I may have posted the Snowman can I did using the Paint Can in the past. For this can I hand stamped the snowflakes on the background paper, added a strip of coordinating paper to the bottom of the can. I added the same striped paper to the lid, Tied ribbon around the handle and added my Snowman. The Snowman himself is simply made from shapes! Oval, Circles, Hearts, flowers and a hole punch. He's really that simple!
Fill the tin with cookies or fudge and you have a great Holiday Gift!
Thanks for stopping by!

Gift Card Holder
What a fun way to give a Gift Card! This was an easy project as well and really made it more fun for the recipient to get their gift card. I lifted the idea from Roxy's Blog. She has some awesome ideas. You can view her tutorial here. The only thing I didn't have at the time was the Word Window punch so I had to compromise :)
I made 100 of these last year and donated them to our church. They were accepting Gift Card donations to go to families that didn't have money for Christmas. I donated the Card Holders to make it more like a "gift" then just being handed the Gift Card itself.
Again, I was not a SU Demo at the time I made these last year. The stamp sets used were CTMH set.

Snowman Shaker Tin
Here he is again! This time in a cute tin I used as an ornament.
I cut a circle to fit the tin, I stamped the snowmanin the center of the circle and randomly stamped snowflakes for the backgrond. Then I stamped the snowman again on a piece of white cardstock, colored him in using SU Coloring Pencils and the Aqua Painter. I cut this snowman out. (I didn't worry about cutting around his arms or the bird since you could see them in the background). I then took dementionals to pop him off the background paper right over the snowman I stamped on the background piece. It give him some depth :) I added white snow flakes to the tin, sealed the lid and tied ribbon so he could be hung.

It's been a long time
WOW! It's been three months since I posted on my blog!
September and October were super busy with me and the kids. Horse Shows, Parelli Clinics, Fall Softball, Girl Scouts & Halloween Costume Contest just to name a few. Then on our last camping trip to Natural Bridge in October I threw my back out again and ended up a week later in the OR having back surgery. It's been about two and a half since my surgery and I am still down. They say it's just a slow drawn out recovery! Uggg
So.....While recovering, I have been surfing the net and getting some great stamping ideas and finding some fun projects to do. I will work on them and my Christmas Cards as soon as I can sit in a chair for more then 20 minutes! So hang in there, as soon as I've healed I'll be back to Stamp'n and Scrap'n! Meanwhile, I'll try and post some projects that I have done in the past.
