Gift Card Wallet
This was a fun and somewhat challenging project to do. I'm just no good a rhyming (or spelling for that matter!) hee hee. The other hard part of the project was running all over town getting the Gift Certificates. The rest was easy! I used chipboard for the pages, covered each page with coordinating paper. Glue dotted the Gift Certificates to the right side page so they were easy to remove and use by the recipient. When all the pages were complete, I used my Bind-It-All to Bind the pages together. Done! A fun and easy way to give Gift Certificates!

Sympathy Silhouettes
Have ya missed me?!? It's been a few days since I posted....sorry, it's been a crazy weekend.
My best friend called me Friday morning and said her beloved grandfather passed away. We went to the funeral Saturday morning and it was a wonderful ceremony celebrating his life. I've been very close with her family since we were in the 5th grade so I made each person in the family their own card. Here's one of the four I did. Check back this week to see the other three.

In Memory of Credit
This was an emotionally hard card to do.
My mom lost her beloved 32 year old horse Credit back in March. My brother and I bought Credit for my mom 15 years ago for Mother's Day. He was such an awesome horse, and a wonderful best friend for my mom. His loss was very hard on a lot of people, especially my mom.
She wanted to thank so many people for their
help with Credit so we came up with this card.

Oh Baby!
Isn't this cute! It was fairly easy to make.
I cut an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock longways
at 4 1/4". Scored it at 5 1/5". Cut the skirt at an angle. Then used my CM Custom Cutting Circles to trim the shoulders (eyeballed it).
Circle Punch for the arms and neck. Scallop Circle
for the neck line then stamped the front of the card.
Flower with a brad in the center of the dress. Tied
coordinating ribbon around the waist. I used vellum to over lay the skirt to give it a softer look. I used scalloped scissors for the bottom of the skirt and done!

Whimsy Butterfly
This is a card I did one evening just playing
around with my stamps. I ended up giving one of
them away (because I always make two of each design) for Mother's Day to my MIL.
I stamped my images and used the Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement. Then on a scrap piece of Whisper White (see, that's why you never throw away those scraps!) I stamped a second butterfly and cut him out. I only glued the center of the cut out butterfly to the already stamped butterfly on the card to give him a 3D look.
